With over 47 years of experience in the Television production and movie making I began my career as a student assistant at Chabot College in Hayward by helping to convert their Black and White Studio into a Color studio. After graduation with an AA in Photography from Chabot College, From there I went on to California State University in Hayward (California State University East Bay) where I was instrumental in converting their studios into a production center and graduated with a BA in Mass Communications, I was then referred by Chabot College to the Alameda County DA's office to work in their Crime Scene Video Unit (the 1st in the country), where I stayed for 5 years working on many top cases during that time including gathering footage for many important cases. From there I went on to the US Navy at Mare Island for 14 years, where I created their broadcast production center and help train employees on computers so that they can get jobs outside the government, when we received the closure notice. After that I was hired by the Justice Department to be the Senior Computer Specialist for the Livermore Sector of the Immigration Naturalization Service at Camp Parks in Dublin, Ca. There I automated the I-213 and related forms for the stations and was summoned to Washington DC to meet with officials there to demonstrate my program. I had to leave the Civil Service life to go take care of my wife then moved on to Bio Rad Labs in Pinole, to be the LAN Administrator for their Diagnostics Division, until my wife's passing. Then worked at a Immigration Law Firm, Bank of America and then started my own production company called Clearwater Filmworks, with my friend and colleague from the DA's office for about 8 years, then came to Chabot College to rescue the TV studio that started my career in the first place. I managed to convert it to a state of the art production facility with a worldwide reach through Comcast, ATT Apple TV and Roku, and IBM's USTREAM.TV network.
