As an Event Assistant at Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, I provide excellent guest service, organize, and set up big conferences, meetings, and banquets. I have contributed to the successful execution of several events, such as the BC Tourism Industry Conference, and the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers. I use data analysis tools to monitor and evaluate the feedback and satisfaction of the attendees and the clients, and to identify areas for improvement and innovation.I am also passionate about teaching and learning languages, and I have been working as an English Second Language Teacher at Sprachcaffe/GEOS Languages Plus for more than a year. I adapt and work with a diverse body of students from different nationalities, preparing course materials to create supportive and engaging classes. I incorporate digital technology into learning by using third-party software, such as Kahoot, Quizlet, and Padlet. I also lead a U-20 program that aims to enrich the students' free time by taking them around Vancouver and encouraging them to participate in activities.I am currently pursuing my Master of Education Technology degree at University of British Columbia,where I am expanding my knowledge and skills in literary analysis, critical thinking, and academic writing. I aspire to become a professional translator and interpreter, and to use my linguistic and cultural competencies to facilitate cross-cultural communication and collaboration. I am fluent in English, French, and Uzbek, and I am learning Spanish.
