As part of the London 2012 Olympics I was privileged to be assigned to the Olympic Committee of Algeria throughout their time at the Olympic games. 240,000 applications were received to work at the London Olympics and 75,000 were selected for a range of roles. I was 1 of 700 chosen for this specific role, directly reporting to the 'Chef de Mission' of the Algerian Olympic Team and based directly within the Olympic Village. I had responsibility for VVIP/athlete logistics and relationship management.
