Reconcilement Unit (2002 – 2007)The functions and responsibilities:• Receiving and reviewing bank’s statement on daily basis against our records.• Oversight for each reconciled entry taken place, by verifying details to ensure all transaction are matching.• Investigating un-reconciled items and following up with concern area for immediate response.• Escalating and tracking the un-responded transactions.Country Control Division/ Reconcilement - Unit Head (2007 – 2008)• Review all bank’s accounts on a monthly basis to make sure that the outstanding entries are resolved with appropriate timeframe.• Review the new opened bank’s accounts agreements and follow-up with the third parties to set-up a procedure of transactions reconcilements.• Make sure that there are no new accounts opened without informing the Country Control Division.• Make sure that the escalation follow-ups are place on timely manner.• Highlight the past due reconciled entries to the high managements.• Setting Goals & Objectives for my subordinates.• Quarterly auditing of Quality Assessment on different units of Country Control Division such as Proof Verification Unit, System Security Unit, Service and Support Unit, Treasury and Investment Reconcilement Unit.System Audit Unit 2008 till Nov 2008The functions and responsibilities as a Unit Head:• Auditing the General Ledger G/L daily.• Investigating the discrepancies in the G/L if any and the justifications.• Ensure sending all discrepancies in G/L officially and follow up with the concerned departments.• Check all systems linked to the main bank’s system, ensure there are no discrepancies in the G/L, as well as taking a necessary action.• Ensure there are no outstanding entries on the Sundry accounts exceeding the required time.• Ensure all G/L discrepancies are fixed precisely.• Ensure that all the transactions have been offset.• Review the dropped entries and follow up with the concerned departments for corrective action.
