• Conduct Business Risk Review assignments at Arab Bank plc area managements and group subsidiaries by covering the following areas : -Evaluate the Macroeconomics of the country economy and Arab Bank position -Evaluate the county's / subsidiary strategy -Ensure that industries study for concentrated and targeted sectors are in place and assess the adequacy of such study. -Review the Target Market List development, monitoring and controlling. -Review the concentration in industry, customers and products to ensure related risk are well mitigated. - Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the following : analysis and due diligence, risk rating , facility pricing , facility structure , contacts with clients , account strategy , industry coding , monitoring of covenants , reasonable calculation of return on regulatory capital ( RORC) , matching between internal risk rating and Moody's Risk Analysis ratings ...etc. -Appraise the RMs skills and training requirements to maintain a good caliber. -Evaluate the credit approval process and capability of credit review team to maintain portfolio quality. -Assess the credit administration and control unit.-Test the adequacy of problem recognition process . •Prepare strategic studies and analysis and come up with actionable recommendations that assist senior management to improve business development.

-Provide reasonable assurance by reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of Risk Management, Control activities and Governance processes concerning the Corporate Banking “Credit Portfolio Quality” and its related “Management Process”. -Supervise and mentor Audit team in conducting Audit assignments at all assignment phases (planning, fieldwork, communicating results and following-up on corrective action). -Prepare Annual Operating Plan based on comprehensive risk assessment of "Audit Universe", available resources, and senior management expectations. Moreover, monitoring the implementation of plan and analyze the reasons behind any deviation from budget. -Partner and fully aligned with other areas of the Bank to help achieve the Bank’s objectives and goals. -Organize and coordinate with outsource consultants in deferent Credit Audit projects.-Review the established policies and procedures associated with managing credit risk, and recommend the necessary amendments before implementation. -Participate in Corporate Model (PD Model) validation exercise. -Supervise Audit assignments plans from conducting preliminary surveys to preparation of detailed Audit programs that tailored to each auditable entity. -Provide endorsement for credit policy manual updates, corporate product programs, credit administration procedures

- Review the Credit Portfolio (Corporate and Retail) for MENA region.- Ensure assignments are executed in accordance with the Group’s methodologies and professional standards.- Ensure coordination with auditable unit management to facilitate progress of the assignments.- Track and report the progress of the audited function in addressing key findings, on regular basis, and report to the Senior Manager issues and delays on periodical basis
