DoLIDAR is the government agency for the development of infrastructuredevelopment. I worked in DoLIDAR from November 2012 till July 2015 as an ICTofficer on contract basis. My job responsibilities as an ICT officer was to update andmaintain e-procurement portal (www.edolidar.gov.np) and Department’s web portal(www.dolidar.gov.np). Apart from maintaining and updating the portals my jobresponsibilities also includes maintain the overall computer system and network inthe office premises; manage database management system, manage and update theMIS, mail server; troubleshoot and solve the system related problems as whenrequired; coordinate with the hardware and software vendors for the upgrade andmaintenance of system. From Fiscal Year 2070/71 DoLIDAR closed its privatee-procurement portal (www.edolidar.gov.np) and started all its procurementoperations from National Portal for e-Procurement (www.bolpatra.gov.np). Sincethen I have done trainings of this system to staffs of DoLIDAR, DDCs, DTOs,Municipalities and Projects. Since the system was new , I was involved rigorouslyinvolved in rolling over and implementation of the system.
