As a part of the core team for the inaugural TEDxBITMesra, tasks varied from speaker nominations to theme for the event. My primary objectives were:• To analyse the TEDx brand reaction and curate social media content attracting the right audience for the event.• To engage target audience via relatable content and the understanding of TED and TEDx conferences.

As Chief Whip, my primary role was to supervise, archive and design various theme specific sessions for members, in consultation with the council members of the forum, which would enhance communication and public speaking abilities for the membership as a whole.• Analysis of student characteristics in and outside the membership, curating sessions specific to issues encountered by majority of students during communication and public speaking activities.• Creating pipeline of social media content, targeting students who would be a part of training and placement process' on campus.

The Public Speaking Forum (PSF) of BIT Mesra was started in the year 2007 and has been operating under the aegis of the Training & Placement Cell of BIT Mesra.• Attended two sessions in the Spring of 2014 and was given the opportunity to present a speech to the members of the forum christened "The Bottleneck Theory".• Actively participated in public speaking and group discussion sessions in the forum.

The vision of the Student Alumni Relation Cell (SARC), BIT Mesra is to establish a strong relationship between the alumni and students for the sustainable growth and well being of such individuals who connect to BIT Mesra. It gives a chance, to both the alumni and students alike, to network, ensure visibility and growth of individuals at all levels.• Hosted numerous alumni reunions in the first few months as a coordinator.• Actively pursuing online engagement of the large alumni network that BIT Mesra, via social media and emails.• Facebook outreach increased to 2,954.7% with the help of campaigns (viz. #KnowYourAlumni); number of people engaged increased to 1,112.7%, all in the month of March, 2015.• As of September 2015, SARC had 8 members headed by Dr. S. K. Bose, Dean, Alumni Relations & International Affairs, BIT Mesra.

Re-termed as the Expansion Entity Vice President of Global Talent Operations (both Incoming and Outgoing).• Global Talent, formerly known as the Global Internship Programme (GIP), was initiated for the first time for AIESEC in BIT Mesra.• The team consisted of three members, two for the Outgoing Department and one for the Incoming Department.• Raised first client for the Incoming Global Talent Department (Sapphire International School, Ranchi) and first student for the Outgoing Global Talent Department (student from BIT Mesra).

The National Support Team (NST) of AIESEC in Russia works in synergy with the national team to complete specific objectives for the year. In synergy with the National Vice President of AIESEC in Russia for the Outgoing Global Internship Program (oGIP), my main objective was to connect local entities of Russia and India to facilitate professional internships for interns in Russia to organizations in India.• Part of the first National Support Team (oGIP) for AIESEC in Russia.• Thorough understanding of raising, matching and realization (RMR) cycles of both national entities for the entire year.• Crisis management and smoothing of RMR process whenever need be.• Tracking of opportunities available in India, ready for tier-wise promotion for entities in Russia (Supply & Demand Analysis).

Highlights:• First vice president to successfully raise, match and realize exchange participants for the department in the entity.• First vice president with best member engagement for the department in the entity.• Achieved 50% TvA, the best for front office operations in the entity.• Conducted supply & demand analysis for projects. Shortlisted five sectors out of which two were concluded ideal to start ICX operations: i) Education ii) Sanitation & Health• Raised first client of the entity to match and realize exchange participants (EPs) to educational project (in collaboration with H. H. High School, Brambe).• Best member engagement during peak exchange cycle (Winter Peak), with matching and realization of exchange participants within a short period of time.• Successfully delivered Global Cultural Development Programme (GCDP) to exchange participants spanning six weeks.• Successfully created leadership pipeline for the department and entity, including two Expansion Entity Presidents (EEPs).
