Sumin Chou is a design leader focused on creating beautiful, results-driven brand experiences and products across mobile, web and emerging platforms. He is a partner at the research and design firm, Schema. Previously, he was a founding partner of Concentric, a creative studio that primarily worked with retail, publishing and media companies. Past and present clients include: Anthropologie, CBS Interactive, The Council on Foreign Relations, Martha Stewart Living, Neiman Marcus, New York Magazine, Time Inc., Victoria’s Secret and West Elm among others.Sumin also served as the digital design director for the New York Times where he led creative for the company’s online properties. He has also held senior creative positions at Time Inc. and at several design agencies. His work has been recognized by a number of leading industry organizations including: the ADDY Awards, Cannes Lions, Communication Arts, Print Magazine, Society of Publication Design (SPD) and the Webby Awards. Sumin has been a guest speaker at design and media events and helps mentor fellow designers in his spare time.
