Sumit has 14+ years of experience in helping large organizations move towards a data based and analytics driven decision making using tech and AI. He is an MBA in Marketing from Welingkar Institute of Management and holds an engineering degree in Information Technology. He brings in a good blend of strong business acumen and technical skills for developing end to end Analytics based solutions.Areas of interest include AI including Gen AI, predictive modeling, anomaly detection, NLP, network analytics and machine learning.At EY GDS, Sumit is part of the technology consulting in the Data and AI team. He drives multiple Gen AI engagements for clients as well as internal capability build through assets and accelerators. Some of his key areas of work have been in using Gen AI for SDLC, Gen AI for insurance business processes like underwriting, FNOL and KYC. Previously at SAS, Sumit was part of Fraud and Compliance analytics practice, driving their strategic engagements with BFSI customers. In an earlier role at Axis bank, Sumit was instrumental in developing risk analytics for retail lending, fraud analytics for cards and AML analytics as a part of their Business Intelligence Unit.
