I feel that my greatest strengths are firstly my strong commitment to professional assignments. Secondly my ability to develop and maintain a close working relationship with peers, which in turn helps me to gain a in-depth understanding of many engineering subjects. Thirdly my ability to remain calm in stressful situations.My inclination towards science and technology drove me to opt for math and science, and after completing my high school I thought engineering would be that area which would provide me the platform to learn and explore how the fundamentals of science are applied to create technology for practical purpose. To study in this field, I had to overcome hurdles, a common entrance examination, which I had to take along with hundreds of thousands of students, all aspiring to get through. I passed with flying colors, being placed in the top 10% of all students who took the examination.My undergraduate studies in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the ITER Institute of Technology,Bhubaneswar,India has exposed me to a stimulating academic environment where learning and research go hand-in-hand. Through the many opportunities I have had here, I have found a deep interest in research work and a strong aptitude for the type of problem solving and problem discovery that it involves.Following this,to avoid any gap in career and to gain work experience, I joined Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCSL), a leading IT support and adminitrative company. With this, I learned how to manage different people and how to convince them to think the way you have put your efforts in. Time management, Business Ettiquetes, Professionalism are some of the traits that I have inculcated in myself from the experience with TCSL. Currently I work with TCSL, leading the development work for a project whose client is the State Government of Odisha. Dealing with Government employees has given me enough experience in management areas.
