With close to 2 decades of work experience in the financial sector, I am a seasoned leader with a passion for creating value for clients, shareholders, and stakeholders. I have a strong background in finance and strategy, and a proven track record of delivering results in corporate and investment banking. As the Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking Relationships at Bank of Baroda, I lead a pan-India team of more than 200 relationship managers, senior relationship managers and branch heads, who cover Conglomerates, Large and Mid-sized corporates and institutions. Transaction Banking team comprising of Cash Management Services is also part of my team. I report into Whole-Time Director on the Board of Directors. In this role, I was responsible for setting up and managing the India operations, overseeing the business development, operations, finance, and HR functions. I successfully secured a large contract with a major automobile manufacturer, and established strategic partnerships with local suppliers and distributors. I also implemented best practices in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects, and enhanced the company's brand awareness and reputation in the Indian market. Before that, I last worked as Executive Vice President of National Coverage at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where I managed a portfolio of over 300 corporate and institutional clients, and generated over INR 750 crores in annual revenue. I started my career with Kotak Mahindra Bank as a Summer Trainee and climbed up the ladder through years. I also led several high-profile deals debt and equity capital markets, and structured finance. I have also been recognized with multiple awards for my outstanding performance and leadership.
