Leader - Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services, India (CMAAS)Leader - ESG Reporting I lead Price Waterhouse’s Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) and ESG Reporting practices in India and have extensive experience of working alongside companies both private and public on a very wide range of transactions, including IPOs / other capital market transactions, acquisitions and disposals, mergers/demergers, group reorganization, ESG and sustainability reporting. Additionally, I am also involved in various GAAP conversion engagements (e.g. IFRS and US GAAP), providing learning solutions and accounting advise to our clients. I previously led Price Waterhouse's Accounting Consulting Services (ACS) team in India and was the firm’s technical partner, involved in various aspects of IFRS reporting. Currently, I lead the Firm’s technical US GAAP and US GAAS function.I continue to advise the firm and its clients across a wide range of topics, dealing with US GAAP and IFRS. Beyond technical accounting; I have extensive experience in the Pharmaceuticals, Technology and Metals industry. Outside of Price Waterhouse, I am a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a special invitee to the ICAI’s Accounting Standard Board, Ind AS Transition Facilitation Group (ITFG) and the Ind AS (IFRS) Implementation Committee. I am also a member of the CII’s National Committee on Financial Reporting.

International audit and accounting experience, primarily leading U.S. GAAP, IFRS and SEC reporting engagements. Experience included:• Lead audit engagemnet partner responsibilities on various U.S. listed SEC registrants, including other non-public clients in the ICE and CIM sectors• Significant experience with clients pursuing IPO in the U.S. market• Involvement with transition of SEC registrants to IFRS. Editor of KPMG India’s thought leadership newsletter – GAAP FOCUS covering matters related to U.S. and International GAAP, PCAOB and SEC reporting matters.Speaker at seminars organized by professional bodies such as the ICAI, including delivery of various trainings across KPMG offices in India, the Middle East, Central Europe, Central America and U.S.
