Allow me to define myself. My name is Sumit, and I love experimenting, which inspired me to start my first company while still in college. Launched my own conference, created India's biggest scannable QR code, and gave the first TED lecture at the University of Delhi, but during my undergraduate years I failed as a people manager.This motivated me to go for courses and a degree in human resources at one of India's most well-known universities. I finished our HRM&LR course at Tata Institute of Social Sciences. This was a turning point in my life that laid groundwork for the next. At the time of graduation, I was rather young and chose to avoid Placements in order to experiment more in the MSME sector of the country. Ever since my initial trip, I have been driven to assist in the MSMEs' increased efficiency in our nation. I never realised, though, what I might provide.Luckily, knowing what I learnt at TISS helped me to realise that, following much research, building exceptional HR in MSMEs would be my lifetime work. This helped me to recognise some issues that I thought over 6 crore MSMEs needed to solve if they were to become more successful. I thus started Headsup Corporation, a single point of contact for any startup or MSME trying to create outstanding HR in their own companies. Six years have seen us expand to seventy employees and bring in ten crore. We have bootstrapped, been profitable, and been expanding.I started my second firm, Headsup B2B, a B2B digital marketplace, also bootstrapped late 2021. While being PAT positive, we have developed to 100CR of lifetime income from bootstrapping. Lead by Harendra Singh Family Office, our first equity round in September 2024 raised 18.89 crore. This will help us to speed our expansion and become into a 1000 CR+ company in three years.I will shortly give you an update on my next trip. I appreciate you looking through.
