  • Ixia
    Principal Engineer
    Ixia Oct 2015 - Aug 2017
    Calabasas, Ca, Us
    • Worked on IXIA’s SDN solution development. • Designed and developed PCEP Plug-in for for IXIA’s SDN solution from the scratch to test both PCC and PCE nodes by acting like PCC and PCE nodes in a real life SDN network or in a simulated network. This plugin has both PCC and PCE capabilities which customer can use as per their requirement. Customer can use both PCC and PCE component to test intermediates DUT for performance and conformance testing with PCC and PCE commands and traffic. • Developed the key areas like PCEP state machine to control/handles PCEP commands, Multi hash Library to find and co-relate incoming LSP parameters with the config and learned LSPs, Auto code generation for FSM for PCC and PCE from xml driven sate representation to reduce manual code writing and scope of errors, Rate control library development and integration with the PCEP state machine. LSP bundling support in PCEP messages. • Contributed in conceptualization, design and developed an auto code generation tool which will take user configurable in a predefined xml format and will generate protocol plug-in’s infrastructure code which will be needed to run the protocol stack in the top of IxNetwork framework. Using this tool user don’t need to write the code to pass the configuration information to the protocol engine and the data structures to hold the configurable at protocol engine. All the data structure will be populated automatically and function stubs for protocol state machine will be auto generated. Protocol developer only needs on concentrate on protocol state machine development. This tool saves almost 50% of a new protocol development time and guaranty the error free infrastructure.
