As head bartender I would open the bar, uncover liquors and beer taps, restock any juice, soda or alcohol that needed to be replaced. Set up the bar stools and menus. Starting with a customer you must check their ID before giving them anything alcoholic. I would recommend appetizers or entrees that would pair with their specific beer or drink. Keep tabs open and keep everyones drinks full. Unless someone has had to much then they are required to cash out and offered water before leaving the establishment. I ran food as well as made the drinks and cleaned my own glasses as the night progressed. At the end is the night I call last call, cash out any open tabs and got everyone out the door so I could lock up. Then I count the drawer and tip out the door and kitchen. Make the drop to the owner and shut down the bar by turning off the televisions, bar lights, cover liquor and taps and do inventory.

As a server I would greet the table, begin their orders with drinks and give my recommendations as far as appetizers and entrees. Once placing their orders I would maintain a clean table, clearing any unused or dirty dishes as well as keeping their drinks full and making sure their food Made it to the table in a timely fashion. At this particular restaurant we did Bubba Gump trivia with the table if they wanted to interact in the game. With smaller children who are unsure what Bubba Gump actually was I would substitute the movie for a popular childrens show or movie like SpongeBob Square Pants or Ice Age. Something more in there time so they can join into the fun of it as well. I got numerous compliments from parents or guardians for making their childerns dinner better and or fun. I would offer desserts and either place that order or bring them the check. And we held onto our bank to be able to cash out the checks as they are closed. At the end of the night we do side work clean and shut down tables and side stations and cash out.

Once placing their orders I would maintain a clean table, clearing any unused or dirty dishes as well as keeping their drinks full and making sure their food Made it to the table in a timely fashion. I would bring the dessert tray around as a visual for ordering dessert if any at all. Then proceeded to give them their check and cash out the check with our personal banks we carried. At the end of the night we break down side stations and restock sodas. Clears the tables, vacuum our section and cash out with the manager of the night.

As an off premise server we would meet at the restaurant, load the truck with any food, drinks, alcohol, silverware, dishes and decorations that needed to be transported to the venue. We would all then meet at the venue and begin setting up the dining room. It was typically a preset menu so we would walk around with different appetizers at the beginning of the night, while they can enjoy the open bar and finger foods, and giving specific table and chair numbers for delivering the entrees. We maintain the tables of unused or dirty dishes or glasses and walk around with the dessert picked by the people who organized the event. Afterwards we breakdown anything that was brought to the venue by us, clean and load the truck to meet back at the restaurant to unload the truck. After unloading we were given our checks for the night.

I would Answer the phones. Organized conference calls. Send out invoices and payment requests if overdue. Send out mail and packages as well as received them. Fill out her schedule. Schedule meetings and trips. Talk to hotels about the groups Occupation number and business there. Send out emails and organized the books. As well as set up contact information for the customer and booking information for the hotel. I would type invoices and receipts. It was an at home business so I would also do different miscellaneous things around the house for her when I wasn't busy like vacuum, clean her desk, organize binders on the shelves with all of the different company information Like repeat customers. I would make CD's with information on them for her. I would also make calls the hotels that we could not reach via email or invoice.

As a hostess I would stand at the hostess stand, greet the customers who came in. Get the correct amount of menus, childrens menus, silverware, crayons, booster seats or high chairs and place them in the next servers section. Then inform the server they have a table and continue the rotation of table placement. At the end of the night we would break down the station. Clean the windows, roll up the rugs, and roll silverware. As a server I would greet the table, get them started with drinks, inform them of any specific specials or deals for the night and begin with their order. Once their pizza or food was ready i would bring it to the table and serve the first piece of pizza and continue to maintain a clear table of unused of dirty dishes. Take the check to the manager behind the counter and she would cash them out and close their checks. At the end of the night we vacuum, whip down tables, shut down soda,salad and side stations and put away any cold food that needed to be returned to the freezer or fridge over night.
