• Design or specify any equipment, tooling, and racking required to support manufacturing• Create shop floor instructions and train necessary personnel on standards• Update and maintain floor layouts via CAD• Specify and facilitate capital and equipment upgrades, installations, or modifications• Overseeing all activities pertaining to capital acquisition funding request• Review Engineering Change Orders within the cells and support all aspects of production implementation• Conducts process capability studies and analysis to establish labor standards, improve efficiencies, and process improvements• Develops and implements continues improvements by using lean initiatives such as 5-whys, fishbone, and PDCA to recommend solutions • Interprets assembly drawings through BOM’s and Siemens Teamcenter to trouble-shoot and recommend corrective action• Develop and implement plans for new production entry • Provide manufacturing support to multiple areas within the plant
