• Lead and manage Security Operations Center
• Perform analysis of security logs and Incidents triggered by SIEM to pinpoint potential points of attack
• Fine tuning of existing SIEM rules, Quarterly review of Email Gateway and DLP rules to reduce false positives and creation of new rules and to ensure all the critical logs are captured on SIEM
• Primarily responsible for security event monitoring, management and response
• Ensure incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation and monitoring
• Liaison with key stakeholders /senior management for new risks arising from any incident, perform escalations based on severity of issue.

• Interpreting various IBM internal Security documents based on ISO standards like GSD331 / ISEC and ITCS104, and identifies any gaps in the process.
• Identify Risk and implementing the Appropriate Countermeasures
• Drive Internal audits, such as ISO and corporate audits
• Interacting with the Account Management and updating end to end activity performed to fix the security configurations on the Client’s environment under scheduled changes & service requests
• Securing network systems and servers according to the agreed polices with the customer & IBM, & against the vulnerabilities by applying required fixes
• Validating applicability of OS vendor releases with respect to the servers & applying them to the servers based upon the patch severities (High, Medium & Low) under planned projects
