Following the 15-month graduate scheme, I created a hybrid role for myself within the culture wing of the business (Events, PR and sports marketing) which allowed me to continue to expand my skills within strategy and account handling for brands such as adidas, Barclaycard, Samsung, Google, Jägermeister and Formula-E.PlanningI consistently delivered detailed research and insight for live projects and new business initiatives, inputted towards creative brainstorms, filmed VOX POPs, structured focus groups, wrote creative briefs and attended industry talks/ workshops. Most notably a creative brief writing course at Adam & Eve DDB.A project I had a significant impact on was a 4-month sponsorship reevaluation framework for Barclays. For this, we critically plotted and evaluated Barclays current sponsorships against their main UK competitors and evaluated their existing portfolio to recommend if they should renew their contract with the premier league.ProductionIn my role as producer I worked on and off-site at a number of events for high profile clients, this being a range of B-B and B-C experiences. Frequently I managed creative output, produced timing plans, coordinated with suppliers, liaised with clients, performed financial duties and assisted as an on-site manager/ runner.I was an integral part in the success of the activation “Perk Park” which was Barclays 2018 British Summer Time festival activation. While on site for 2 weeks, my responsibilities included managing and assigning roles for a team of 15 event staff, handling the accreditation for 150+ suppliers and delivering the schedules for 660 Barclaycard volunteering staff. I was also responsible with artworking the wrap up document for the festival.

I completed deep dive research docs into UK festival activations and alcohol brands comms. I also assisted as a runner on events, mounting PR coverage and new business pitches.Consultancy Rotation (iris Concise)I provided support on a number of projects, RFP’s and RFI’s for the brands of Value Retail, Dominos & Starbucks. For Value Retail, I was a significant part in a framework that cross analysed the current digital/ CRM competencies of their 14 villages across Europe and China through interviews with senior stakeholders.Planning Rotation (London)My time was divided amongst a wide diverse portfolio of brands including Sky Bet, Britvic, Solarplicity, PZ Cuzzons and SuperDry. For the pitch process of Sky Bet’s ATL account I completed a comprehensive competitor review, ran focus groups and VOX POPs at Cheltenham Racecourse & a premier league football match. My research had valuable input and recommendations into the direction of the final creative and strategy.Accounts Rotation (Shell)While stationed for Shell, I got to experience the creative process of longer planned campaigns and strategy within their Fuels and Fleet sectors. I coordinated the selects of a global toolkit which involved organising and printing 350 selects from a photoshoot and subsequent cataloging, retouching and art-working of all assets.Accounts Rotation (Samsung)I started on the e-learning platform Samsung Backstage and provided POS for channel marketing. This was an extremely fast paced account that required building strong client relationships, managing project financials and delivering creative copy, design and artwork through our studio correctly, on time and under budget.

The portfolio existed to minimize the risk of Science Cream’s first expansion and as a persuasive asset in securing a venture capitalist to finance this growth.• After extensively analysing 3 possible locations in terms of population and growth statistics, local competition, geographical weather estimates and national standard of living averages; I recommended a city that I believed was the most suitable and contained the highest chance of success for Science Cream to profitably expand. • Science Cream’s senior managers and founding entrepreneur acclaimed my portfolio as impressive and excellently researched, ultimately providing them with an invaluable tool to greatly assist their expansion.
