 Execution of weekly MRP which includes, Analyzing and approving Purchase requisition report & converting Purchase requisition to Purchase order, working on MRP signals, effective forecast management.  Reviewing & update latest supply commit in corresponding SP files such as Key parts CTB, PSI, Small parts & Packing material.  Work on unconfirmed orders, past dues, AP challenges, receiving issues.  Work with respective commodity GSMs, MPMs on price issues/escalations with respect to suppliers. Ensure updating of latest price for all commodities from customer (GSM) on quarterly basis and validate the Lead Time, Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), Special packing quantity (SPQ) and Fixed Lot Multiplier (FLM) quarterly once to ensure accuracy and prevent unnecessary excess and obsolete (E&O).  MRB co-ordination with supplier SQM and internal team.  Performing quarterly item validation to ensure real time data get replicated in item master data.  Maintaining an effective supplier database to procure various services, equipment and materials.  Responsible for Supplier performance metrics- OTD (On Time Delivery), Relationship Scores for Direct Supplier and Including Quality, Cost for in direct Procurement Port Folio.  Ensure zero line down in production line and meet all critical shortages for A, B and C class parts.  Global strategic sourcing to cover production shortages, upside demand & WIP discrepancy.  Working close with accounts payable team during invoice discrepancy, reporting potential risk on payment holds.  Handling weekly / bi weekly ODM, customer conference calls during NPI and ensure to follow road map to kick start the NPI delivery followed by mass production.  NPI Transition Buyer-Sourcing, Vendor Enrollment, Float RFQ”s to manufacturer, suppliers, distributors and brokers validate the quotes from the suppliers based on MOQ, Lower MOQ support, Price, stock availability, supplier location & payment terms.

 Handling spot Buying and Sourcing processes leading to success in key areas of requesting for Quotation from suppliers and comparing the same and finalizing vendor in terms of cost, delivery and quality.  Preparing the material vendors & Purchase information records for the new vendors using SAP system.  Responsible for sending enquiries for specialty components to suppliers based on the customer request through www.eurocarparts.com/  Procurement of products based on best pricing, delivery date & shipping charges negotiations from various vendors and sources.  Source the vendor for assigned parts and services and negotiate price and terms per Global Sourcing guidelines.  Expediting factory shortage and make sure high performance of supplier On Time Delivery (OTD), On Time To Request, and On Time To Re-Committed  Raising the PO after the confirmation of the order from customer through.  Continuous fallow-up with the vendor & ensuring timely delivery of products to the yards.  Follow up with vendors for documentation & Set up one time vendors with expedited payment terms.  Work closely with marketplaces to develop relationships, sales, promotions and joint marketing activities.  Play an active role in providing products to the business at best price  Co-ordination with various stakeholders to gain approvals where required  Resolve and co-ordinate any operational day to day issues with the suppliers, requestors, category buyers
