ALSTOM SA, Paris, France, a CAC40 company (+4bn$). Global chief of Internal Audit (IA) & Internal Control (IC), was responsible for ensuring and advising Alstom Group Chairman and the Corporate Audit Committee of the Board of Directors on adequacy and effectiveness of the risk management processes, internal control system and governance in all phases of world-wide businesses.Managed a diverse and highly trained talented team of 30 (5 Direct Reports) in IA and an extended team of 30 people in IC, spread across the Globe at each compliance level.- Certifications of Alstom’s Internal Audit function by IFACI (affiliate of Institute of Internal Auditors,USA).- Benchmarking of Alstom’s Internal Audit and Control activities with those of other CAC 40 companies.- Regular interactions at Corporate and Sector levels covering IS compliance, key tenders, difficultprojects, Ethics & Compliance matters, risk based audits, EHS, internal control function.- Risk Mapping with the Corporate and Sector managements and its presentation to the Audit Committee.- Discussed and disclosed all relevant findings at the monthly Corporate Risk Committee meetings held at Group level participated by the Executive Committee members, comprising of Global Heads of Functions and Operations.

ALSTOM T&D India Limited, NOIDA, India (a Listed Entity). Dual role of Finance VP for Grid Business and CFO with stringent compliance & governance rules – Market Capitalization of 1.6bn$ with 3500 persons at various manufacturing, sales and project locations, - Successfully led a very long and complex court monitored de-merger process of business into Schneider and simultaneous integration into Alstom Grid.- Regular and sustained media coverage highlighting Grid India successes, interactions with financial analysts and Investors. Organised and attended publicly held Annual and Extraordinary General meetings of the shareholders (+50,000 individual and institutional holders).- Participated in almost 100 meetings of the Board and its committees as the CFO of the legal entity ensuring full compliance to all statutory and managerial governance requirements.- Change agent for implementing Grid finance structure. Brought about a paradigm shift with streamlined workforce & with noticeable impact on overhead costs reduction, enhanced governance & team spirit.- Supported and advocated for growing India based Finance Shared Services organisation beyond India Grid.

Responsible for delivering growth of Regional Business dealing with State Electricity Boards, Infrastructure and Industry Market Customers for orders up 400kV level. Doubled the order intake in each of the two completed financial years and contributed over 25% (150m$) of order book of the Country organisation.Established a highly effective and successful concept of co-located Project Execution Teams (PETs). The result was a highly motivated and focused team in 4 metros that achieved highest growth by capturing biggest orders from diversified market segments and customer base. Major achievements were two prestigious airport orders of Delhi (45m$) and Chennai. 36 sub-stations (225m$) in an alliance project in Maharashtra apart from many large and challenging orders in Industry and utilities.

AREVA T&D SA based in Paris HQ with responsibility to deliver financial performance through Business strategy and operation plans. Portfolio of Units with diverse cultures was based in North Europe, Greece, Turkey, Singapore and Australia. -Having moved three years ago from home country (first to the UK) undertook another geographical and career move in an otherwise engineers dominated area of operations.-Targeted rapid growth (from 350m$ to 500m$ within 3 years) with strategic planning, business development for profitable growth in new markets e.g. Poland, Romania, Norway, Greece, Australia etc.

- Alstom T&D UK Limited, Stafford. Frequent travel to Paris to manage worldwide Power Electronics business with the Business SVP and recaptured growth through strategic orders of High Voltage DC (HVDC) and PEA in Europe and Canada.- ALSTOM SA, Paris. Was part of the Paris based central conceptual design team. Achieved first Go-Live of TI@S, T&D’s IS – ERP rollout in record time of 6 months.- Cegelec India Limited (held 50% by Indian Partner) to ALSTOM, NOIDA, India. Responsible for all aspects of Finance/HR/Legal etc. As an important member of the core team, achieved the transformation of business from loss making to a profitable company.
