Developed new features and performed maintenance updates on Litening Advance Targeting Pods. Designed new features for an Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) system for the B52 aircraft.• Assumed lead role by prioritizing tasks for the software engineers on an early start F-16 Gen4 Project where the requirements were yet to be finalized.• Obtained live metrics and debugging information, as well as allowing the parameters in the targeting pod to change by creating a PC tool that would connect to the targeting pod. Learned Microsoft Visual Basic on the job and was able to deliver the product on time for a production release.• Fixed critical bugs for new features on a released product on the flight line for the US Air Force that only occurred on the A10 aircraft and not on any Systems Integration Lab achieved by analyzing data sent by aircraft and targeting pod and determining the location of the problems.• Ensured low defects on an F-16 targeting pod by working directly with Systems Engineering to verify that the evolving requirements matched the final released product.• Created the original system to receive data from Compact Multi-Band Datalink (CMDL) to the targeting pod before the original CMDL prototype was created. This system is still being used for future CMDL developments.• Listed current software development process and items for future process improvement by mapping out the process to handle a Deficiency Report from the customer and presented results to upper management.

Developed software for Gen 6 and Gen 7 On-Star Telematics Control Unit (TCU) for General Motor Vehicles.• Created the power management system of Network Access Device (NAD) for Gen 6, which provided the support for CDMA digital technology in addition to analog cellular technology.• Developed new interfaces to Windows based PC tool, Application Test Tool, to display additional metrics and store information on the TCU.
