Undertook full responsibility for creating and managing the first BD, client development, branding and marketing function of this internationally recognised law firm, with offices in Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah and Beirut. My remit included implementing the first ever function in the firm from scratch, and to evolve this function by providing support to partners and heads of practice by working closely with them (matrix organisation). Responsibilities included implementing strategic business and marketing plans for the region, targeting clients, sectors, product types as needed, whilst enhancing the firm’s reputation across key target audiences and markets by leading and executing a full scale rebranding exercise of the business which included targeted ATL and BTL marketing strategies. I was also responsible for client relationship activities at the firm, including developing a dedicated client relationship programme for the firm to enhance the firm's market reputation.

Took full responsibility for the end to end management of Reed Smith's BD and Client Relationship Management functions in Dubai and Abud Dhabi offices. Also responsible as Strategic development lead for the Firm's Africa and Australia Global Business Teams.

Following promotion in April 2015, I took on a significant level of responsibility for clients and internal stakeholders within the firm on a global basis. Along side the Shipping Industry Group and Labour & Employment Practice, I also undertook the responsibility of leading the Firm's Japan and Korean Business teams, including undertaking business and client development activities in Tokyo. I additionally undertook prolonged secondments to our Munich and Athens offices, gaining valuable international experience, whilst becoming the "go to" contact for our German and Greek lawyers.

Worked exclusively alongside the Reed Smith Partnership to create innovative strategies and business development initiatives to augment Reed Smith's client base on a global scale.Focussing primarily on Reed Smith's market leading Shipping Group, I covered our practices in London, Paris, Athens, Singapore, Hong Kong, New York and Washington D.C. Reed Smith's Shipping Group possessed a robust, international client roster including shipowners, charterers, banks, financial institutions, investment funds, ports, shipyards, protection and indemnity associations, defense clubs, war risks clubs, hull and cargo underwriters, brokers, salvors, trade associations, energy and trading companies and other institutions in the marine and transport and insurance industries.----------------------------------------------The Firm's Labour and Employment Group spans across 11 offices in the US and 5 offices in the EMEA. We have extensive experience counseling and litigating on behalf of clients large and small. Our lawyers have prevailed in countless cases in a wide range of industries, including: financial services, health care, insurance, telecommunications, utilities, manufacturing and retail.
