Infrastructure support role for the IBM i estate.A large part of the job was to assist with the rollout and testing of a new Power 7 based i760 running r7.x. This included data centre work in Amsterdam.As part of this role I administered a large number of secure FTP transfers to and from customers and clients. This involved quite a bit of manual intervention, CL (Control Language) scripting and root-cause analysis work.Attended the iCommunity trip to IBM in Rochester, MN.
