The Superintendents Journal (TSJ) is a platform for school superintendents globally to share insights, their accumulated knowledge and experiences with the world at large. In addition, all school superintendents are eligible to become peer reviewers and authors by virtue of their authority as superintendents of schools. TSJ beneficiaries include students, educators, families, school boards, community members, institutions, policy makers among others. As the first journal dedicated specifically to the superintendent community, TSJ does not limit the type of contributions that superintendents may want to share to foster open dialogue through trust, respect, independence, collaboration and kindness (TRICK).

The Green Jobs for Rural Youth Employment (GJ4RYE) is the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) project. I serve as the chairman of the steering committee represented by partners from Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, and Timo-Leste. My responsibilities include providing strategic guidance to FAO's global and national coordinators at the country level, skills development, and green job opportunities to rural youth, whose results will be mainstreamed to the national development policies and strategies of their respective governments. I also review and approve the annual work plan, significant changes in the plan activities, and target indicators of the preceding year of the GJ4RYE project.

Through an MOU between NUST and InventXR Research University Initiative, I lead the University in Zimbabwe with the development and delivery of lectures on subjects at the intersection of Science, Technology and Society; as a way of preparing the world for the future of work and learning.I conceptualized the development of project based degree and micro-degree programs including project based undergraduate degree in Engineering as well as a professional certification micro-degree program for Educators. This summer, I personally trained 187 educators on remote teaching. The Vice-Chancellor and I certified the micro-degree.At NUST, I am also responsible to establish specialized mathematics and science institutes for the benefit of current and prospective university students, especially the girl child.I am also responsible for the promotion of field based learning opportunities through university partnerships with communities and corporations. In this role, I am exploring the use of immersive technologies for teaching and learning such as VR, AR, MR and other XR technologies for teaching and learning.To meet current and future healthcare needs, I am building NUST's research capacity through collaborations with individuals, institutions, and networks inclusive of teams from sectors not traditionally associated with medicine; specifically, agriculture, education, and engineering. My current exploratory research on the ethical, legal, and social implications of clinical research on Native Africans will contribute to a future where individuals own rights to their data. I collaborate with the Vice Provost's team on strategies for stimulating innovation, development, and implementation of networked technologies all necessary for the practice of precision and translational medicine in Africa.

As a Creator of Models, I provided guidance and drove the formal creation of the Global Moonshots in Education Model, also called "T.R.I.C.K." making significant contributions including conceptualizing from inception to launch, Esther Wojcicki's book, "How to Raise Successful: Simple Lessons with Radical Results." The book became an Amazon best-seller on parenting books. Specific acknowledgement with my name in the book credits.The Future of Education: How changes in the we learn will change the way we work.I led the Designership Moonshot Fellowship program to solve some of the world's most challenging problems with a focus on Health and Education technology moonshots. I taught and mentored students to accomplish their moonshot projects, most of which now have their patents, are companies or have been acquired for tens of millions of dollars. These accomplishments all happened as part of their high school education. The transformative nature of this experience as a Moonshot Thinker and role model to these young inventors inspired me to create the world's first Virtual Reality School in 2019.I provided strategic leadership to the moonshots accreditation commission on evaluating schools and programs who applied for accreditation. Some of the most innovative moonshot schools inclusive of 42 Silicon Valley, NUST and Make School.

Home-life and environment (including tech) are known to be stronger predictors of academic and health outcomes than either formal education or healthcare. With the rise in remote working and learning, I help families and organizations with technology integration strategies. The RealMVP team uses the positive youth development model for program planning, development, and implementation of our integrated system of supports for all families through strategic partnerships. I also provide research insights on the impact of technologies such as virtual and augmented reality on academic, health, and socio-emotional domains for kids and support teachers with curriculum designs that optimize success.

An experimental High School where I built Silicon Valley's first Virtual Reality Lab. I created a robust Design Thinking Curriculum and my signature Design Lab course Moonshots elevated the school profile when Wired named the school, Silicon Valley's Ultimate Incubator. I conducted research on peace technologies and designed curriculum which was taught at the Stanford Pre-Collegiate Courses inclusive of Design as Discovery (Computer Science) and Normativity and the Architecture of Human Being (Philosophy). I led a team of seven in this role.Supervised high school fellows and interns on their design challenges. Some of them went on to design their own credit-bearing courses in schools such as Design Tech High School at Oracle, a charter school conceptualized out of the d.school. I joined the faculty of at Design Tech were I built the Moonshot Design Lab program as well as Data Science focused Math Courses which I named Designership.Conceptualized peer-review journal for high school students in collaboration with the Stanford School of Education, Open Journal System with Khosla Professor, John Willinsky. Students from 18 countries participate in peer-review today and most of them have continues participating in scholarly research in colleges inclusive of Brown, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Claremont, MIT and NUST.

I worked with Dr. Ravits, a board-certified clinical neurologist specializing in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), motor neuron diseases, neuromuscular disorders, and clinical neurophysiology at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. I observed procedures in the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory as well as patient visits each morning. In the afternoons, my work shifted to ALS translational research at the Benaroya Research Institute focused on clinical phenotypes, genetic mechanisms especially related to the C9orf72 gene, genomics, antisense oligonucleotide therapies, and molecular neuropathology. Our research is published in the Neurology Journal where I am acknowledged.
