Musica Mondo brings international music in all major categories (classical, jazz, world music, etc) to Bulgaria, and contribute to raising the bar for how to appreciate and use music. This is done through advertising and organizing events, presenting artists, posting videos and other output on our social/business media platforms, and reviewing events and artists and their production. The general underlying goal is to use music to communicate across and between countries and cultures. More specifically, it is to contribute to integrating Europe, specifically increasing the contact between Eastern Europe and the rest of Europe. The website www.musica-mondo.org is, at the present time, the main vehicle for achieving the goals with Musica Mondo.

I worked on the EIA for the proposed Nalsing Gad Hydropower project, located in the Western Development Region. The plan called for displacement and resettlement of a substantial number of people following inundation of the Nalsing Gad valley. My role in this connection was to provide social inputs, including: provision of technical advice and reporting (e.g., Ethnic Minorities Development Plan, gender, ethnic minorities issues) in accordance with international and national guidelines, supervision and implementation of social related activities, assistance in national staff management, and client liaison.
