CBNRM Networking supports activities on natural resource management at the local level in developing and transition economies globally, within agriculture, coastal fisheries, coastal zone management, forestry, pastoralism, and rangeland management. It provides powerful and applied tools for communities, NGOs and institutions, aimed at networking and knowledge management. The members - as well as the users - of its websites live and work in more than hundred countries, and work in public sector, civil society and private sector.
In order to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the situation at the local level, CBNRM Networking advocates use of tools like social analysis, social assessment and stakeholder analysis.
