Completed twenty five years in the markets! Investment Management, Equity Research and Investment Banking - both public and private markets. Looking back, I don't think I would change much about what I did - maybe, I could have moved to the investment management side earlier than I did. Currently, my focus is on investing in public markets, and I look forward to writing more on investing and allied topics. I continue to invest sporadically in early stage, tech space and to mentor such companies. But, the US Tech space is what really holds my attention currently.Equity research was my first passion - I spent 14+ years in equity research and investment banking with top global banks. Having direct access to founders of large and small companies, forecasting macro and micro numbers and advising global investors was a terrific experience. Technology was a passion from day one, and I have now tracked the sector for 25+ years. Then, I lead Frontline Strategy (7+ years), one of India's oldest, independent private equity managers, with a top-decile performance across Asia over the past decade.
