Worked for the team of Wiring Harness for Smart Car developed by Groupè PSA (Peugeot Citroën Automobiles).- Played an active role in the development of wiring harness manufacturing processes and procedures for the smart car by Citroën (C3 and e – C3), including the design of test fixtures and the implementation of robust quality control measures.- Utilized computer-aided software such as ZUKEN and CATIA to design and develop harness layout designs, valve and component design and connector designs ensuring efficient and reliable wiring systems.- Strategically analyzed and revised harness designs resulting in a 215 mm reduction in overall harness length. This greatly reduced material usage and associated expenses while maintaining performance standards.- Identified and rectified 7 potential hazards within the harness integration process (battery and door harness). Collaboratively revised process sheets to optimize fitment and enhance harness performance. Resulted in 10 % cost reduction in engine, battery and door harness.- Conducted fitment study, vehicle analysis and testing at Citroën Vehicle Plant, Tamil Nadu, India where I performed various endurance tests like vibration and oscillation behavior of harness assemblies. - Performed analysis tests for Citroën C3 in External Noise Test Track, Hill Track and Braking Surface Track at the Vehicle Evaluation Laboratory (VEL) in Global Automotive Research Centre (GARC) and International Center for Automotive Testing (ICAT), India.
