As a Senior Project Lead at TextileGenesis, I am responsible for building traceability for sustainable materials, using blockchain technology and digital certificates. I work with global brands, suppliers, and certifiers to create transparency and trust in the textile supply chain, and to enable circularity and recycling of materials. I have over 10 years of experience in the textile and apparel industry, with a focus on sourcing, new product development, and supplier category management. I have successfully developed and implemented recycle yarns and components for passion brands, converting 70% of their products into eco-design products. I have also collaborated with Carrefour Global Sourcing and H&M as a global component developer, conducting market research, sales strategy, and strategic negotiations. I hold a B.Tech degree in Textile Technology from kumaraguru college of technology, where I gained a strong foundation of the textile value chain, from spinning and knitting to processing and finishing. I am skilled in various textile technologies, such as dyeing, printing, coating, and functionalization.
