Working across a number of station refurbishments, I was employed as a financial auditor and project manager, overseeing key refurbishments and working with store owners and managers to ensure the correct management of financial records; delivering financial auditing for each site. Auditing all Queensland retail petroleum sites in a six-week cycle, my role required regular travel to over 60 sites across the state. Key Responsibilities:  Audit of sales reconciliation, site standards, facilities management and HSSE compliance and processes; Reporting to senior stakeholders on financial audit outcomes and providing key recommendations on improvements across QLD sites; Development and delivery of site plans and refurbishments schedules to ensure minimal impact to operations and revenue; Contractor management of multiple site refurbishments concurrently; Managing project plans and liaising with contractors for schedule updates.

Working as an Area Manager across 22 sites in Brisbane, Gold Coast and West QLD, my role required me to manage the overall operations across my portfolio of sites. As the first point of contact for site managers, I was responsible for compliance, site standards and sales performance for the sites under my portfolio. Key Responsibilities:  Conduct monthly financial audits;  Shop merchandising audits and quarterly HSSE audits; Interview prospective commission agents; Leading site changeovers and co-coordinating new site openings; Incident management, resolving adverse situations such as LPG gas leak from above ground tank, fuel contamination, underground fuel leak, hold ups and break ins; Holding full responsibility for the operational and P&L performance for the stores within my portfolio.

As an owner of a United franchise, I was leading one of the highest performing sites in Queensland. Officially designated as Commission Agent for United Petroleum Pty Ltd, I led a team of 12 staff members focused towards business development, customer service and maintaining company standards and compliance across the site. I led this site to an exceptionally high standard and sold the franchise, which then led to being hired by United to drive performance across their QLD sites, state-wide.
