Job Responsibilities: Working as a project manager from August, 2023 for geotechnical part with total project cost of US$ 689.5K on behalf of APS Engineering and Testing, LLC with funding from Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) through Louisina Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) that includes replacement of 23 bridges in different parts of Louisiana. Project is ongoing and will complete design by December, 2025. Working as a project manager from September, 2020 for geotechnical part with total project cost of US$ 2.739 Million on behalf of APS Engineering and Testing, LLC for Rural Bridge Replacement Initiative (RBRI) Phase I and II with funding from Louisina Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) that includes replacement of 98 bridges in different rural parts of Louisiana. Project is ongoing and will complete design by December, 2024. Worked as a project manager from February, 2018 till September, 2020 from start till project completion on behalf of APS Engineering and Testing, LLC for US$ 72 Million Design-Build Project I-10: Highland Road to LA 73 State Project No. H.009250 in East Baton Rouge/Ascension parishes of Louisiana which included extensive testing on soil, aggregates, concrete samples etc. Preparation of geotechnical reports using GEOSYSTEMS, Bentley gINT, Bentley MicroStation, SHAFT 2017, DRIVEN, SLOPE/W, SPW911, APILE, SETTLE 3D, PILE DRIVING ANALYZER (PDA), Wave Equation Analysis of Pile Driving (GRL WEAP V.14), Case Pile Wave Analysis Program (CAPWAP) softwares etc.  Civil design for shallow and deep foundations Construction materials testing (CMT) and inspection Writing proposals for acquiring new projects and report preparation for various geotechnical projects. Managing laboratory to acquire and maintain AASHTO accreditation by performing required proficiency tests every year.

 Preparation of pre-qualification and the bidding tender documents for competing in NCB (National Competitive Bidding) and ICB (International Competitive Bidding) packages for various civil structures like weirs, bridges, highways, irrigation structures, buildings, water supply & sanitary and other minor structural works. Prepare BoQ (Bill of Quantities) at appropriate rate for use by private construction firms and maintain quality of civil construction work performed. Attending Pre-Qualification, Pre-Bid meetings and opening of bidding documents as a representative of NCCN.

 Identify, plan, survey, design, implement potential micro-hydro schemes (<100 KW installed capacity), which is taken as an entry point of the program in remote villages of Nepal which are not connected to national electric grid.  Promote electricity based end use activities in remote villages like installing huller, grinder, battery chargers etc for use during off-peak hours to increase load factor for installed micro-hydropower plants. Promote other sources of renewable energy like solar home system (SHS), Biogas, Gasifier, Improved Cook-stoves (ICS) etc.
