Career Goals: Are to continue enjoying my chosen career path and ensure that I continue to learn and offer a level of expertise that is beneficial & competitive to the Industry.Key factors:* Specialized in International Freight Industry.* Skills set in logistics and fleet management. * Cultural and Working experience in India and the UK.* Knowledge of the e-commerce market that A.J WW UK operates * Knowledge of UK import and export customs procedure and compliance specifically CDS systems.* Experience in WMS systems currently being used by A.J WW UK Roles and responsibilities:Imports Operations:• Responsible for developing operational & logistics capability.• Managing the transport fleet and end-to-end logistical operations.• Handling enquiries and providing quotes to customers for Air, Sea, and Truck shipments.• Planning and following up with the warehouse team and the drivers. • Coordinated and oversaw all daily warehouse operations.• Manage and track day-to-day logistics operations.• Handling escalation and disputes.• Taking care of the post and pre-audit for customs clearance.• Taking care of the HMRC post-audit enquiries and coordinating with them till the end of the process.• Preparing daily reports for customers and agents.• Preparing weekly and monthly shipment volume reports for management purposes.• Coordination and support to the sales team and accounts personnel in their activities.• Wide experience in:• Handling B2C, B2B, F2P, and T1 shipments.• Handling Truck import CDS clearance and Goods Vehicle Movement Service (GVMS).• Handling Samples, CFSP, Inward Processing Relief, Testing, Re-import, Exhibition shipments, and clearance.• Custom Clearance activities CDS- Customs Declaration Service.• Handling road freight from Europe to the UK.• Following up with the custom hold shipments with NCH- National Clearance Hub and the other customs teams.• Handling payment and claim-related issues with HMRC• Dealing with last-mile delivery firms like FedEx, UPS, DHL etc. • Handling UK warehouse operations, inventory, and transportation management.• CNS and destin8 for the sea import operations.Exports Operations:• I am handling a team for Express export operations and documentation.• Ensure all customer's standard operating procedures are followed.• Responsible for taking care of the express operations through CFL.• Handling enquiries and providing quotes to customers.• Negotiating and coordinating with the airlines for rates and bookings.• Taking care of the major key customers’ accounts.
