Logistics Management• Managing complete logistics for import/ export items and goods through air, sea and road• Negotiating with transporters, shipping lines, service providers, agents, etc. to achieve seamless and cost-effective movement of consignment for timely deliveriesExport & Import Operations • Managing the import & export operations and maintaining various documents for the same• Coordinating for import & export matters & liaising with various authorities like Customs, Airlines-Freight Forwarders / shipping companies, DGFT and other external agenciesCustom Operations• Monitoring Customs Clearances of import & export cargo & supervising movement of the cargo to the site with complete STP Formalities like Bonding & obtaining CLRI Certificates • Synchronizing with CHA for import clearances and arranging to provide them all the required shipping documents and other customs declarations for speedy clearanceTransportation / Documentation • Coordinating with Custom House Agents, C&F Agents, airport & dock officials, and other external agencies for ensuring timely clearances, permissions and cost effective transport solutionsOrder Management:• Managing orders secured from various Govt. departments with focus on delivery schedule• Analyzing consignee details and the permission required for custom clearance and transit from ware house to customer destination• Contract Management:• Review all contracts or any other documentation where the Company has committed itself and assess legal implications that need to be brought to the executive management’s attention.• Prepare, review and modify contractual instruments to assist and support various business activities.• Negotiate, review and draft documentation for business transactions and prepare and advise on the necessary checklist to be adopted to ensure information is submitted on time.
