Experienced project finance professional with more than 11 years of experience in infrastructure project financing and advisory (primarily in the power and energy sector) (total industry experience of about 14 years). Worked on project debt syndication transactions worth more than $2 BN, covering wind, solar, hydro, and thermal power generation projects; transmission; rooftop solar, and city gas distribution. Currently, focusing on the emerging ESG and climate finance sector including the study of use cases and business models for financing of new age technologies like battery energy storage, rooftop solar, green hydrogen, and electric mobility. Also, arranging concessional financing from Multilateral and Bilateral Development Banks to catalyze new climate-friendly markets and technologies and advising domestic banks on their climate finance ambitions, and improving their readiness to cash in on the opportunities from the Net Zero ambition of India. I have also dealt with very large-size thermal project financing, monitored their operations from the lender side; and worked on the resolution of some of the large-size coal-based stressed assets.
