Recent projects include:Leidos:•Performed the newly established role of Quality Assurance reviewer for the Government Compliance team, providing a detailed review of all support materials gathered by the team before submission to the governmental auditors. •Integrated seamlessly with the Government Compliance team and efficiently developed a comprehensive understanding of the tasks assigned. •Acted as an in-person mentor to newly hired Associate, who reports to a Manager located across the country. •Worked directly with individual team members, both in-person and across the country, to understand the basis for the support to be provided and also to ask follow-up questions or requests prior to tight submission deadlines set forth by the governmental auditors. •Performed detailed peer reviews over unallowable audits for the current year that were performed by the Company’s Internal Cost Submission team. Worked directly with the auditor to understand the approach taken in the audit, any findings identified during the audit, and any additional information the team intended to collect during the audit process.•Performed and reviewed internal company audits of agreements, and the related billings, with Subcontractors hired by the Company. Inspected Purchase Orders, Modifications, Invoices, and evidence supporting the invoices for accuracy and adequacy. Communicated directly with third-party subcontractor contacts to obtain additional support not initially provided to the Company. Communicated the results of the internal audit directly with the Subcontract Closeout team.

Performed substantive audit testing over higher risk and significant risk estimates such as revenue reserves and long term variable compensation plans. Prepared audit strategy and summary memos detailing the nature, extent, and timing of the worked performed in our audit program. Prepared technical memos related to specific accounting treatments of non routine transactions.Managed engagement economics monitoring progress against planned budget and brought savings to the engagement (improved margins).
