Susan is currently serving on several Board of directors and is an active investor. She was the original co- founder and member of the Board of Directors of Square 1 Financial. From its inception in 2005, Susan served in a variety of functions including COO, Chief Credit Officer and EVP of Credit and Banking. Prior to founding Square 1, Susan was President of the Technology & Life Science Division of Comerica Bank. She joined Comerica after the bank acquired Imperial Bank, where she was CCO / COO of the Emerging Growth Division. Susan also spent five years at Silicon Valley Bank before her tenure at Imperial Bank.
