Started my careers in Commercial Lines Insurance as a typist worked myself up to full commercial lines rater, had economic layoff and found myself in a dental office. The front desk came easy for me but the assisting not so sure, so I went to school for dental assisting. When I graduated couldn't find a full time job assisting so this office needed an office manager so I took the position and have been there ever since. Prior to that I hadn't held a job for more than 3 years. Now I'm in my 17th year out worked one of my bosses, unfortunately had to see him thru retirement. At some point I needed a second job so I hear Dominos paid well but I didn't like driving that much. Well I'm in my 8th yr with them now, not bad for someone who doesn't like to drive, I deliver. Grateful to have both jobs in this economy.
