As a Distribution Supervisor, I had the opportunity to supervise 20 plus employees of our retail market shipping Dept. (ASN). It involved the creation of pricing UPC's for various major retailers and the electronic shipping labels for scanning product to truck and at various locations for the customer. One of the tasks was the paperwork for the orders and the assignment of workload to our valued employees. Also, keeping employees up to date on training of various tasks that affected our customers product. One key element is to offer ownership over their day to day tasks and engage the thought process of employees.
