Quickly I immersed in the changing landscape of the city working with Jim Linebarger Architects and Nan Rosenblatt Interior Design, Kimtpton Hotels and designer showcase houses. During that time, I became a certified interior designer. Starting a family brought a relocation to the South Bay. I worked with Ruth Soferenko, Ann Sonneberg and Game Plan Design as a project manager and lead designer. In 2012, I opened Susan Hoffman Interior Design, focusing on high-end residential interiors with quality execution.

    Susan Hoffman has been practicing interior design in the Bay Area for the past 23 years. She founded Susan Hoffman Interior Design in 2006. In 1983 Susan moved from St. Louis to San Francisco and worked for Jim Linebarger Architects for three years and then she was offered a job at Nan Rosenblatt Interior Design. Susan worked with Nan for the following 10 years where she was a senior designer for several Kimpton Hotels; Harbor Court, Tuscan Inn, and the Vintage Creek. At NRID she was a senior project manager for high end residential design and remodeling projects. In addition Susan worked on several show houses in San Francisco, 1986,1987, the Carolands 1991. She participated in the annual festive Dining by Design at the San Francisco Galleria. Susan was in instructor at The Academy of Art College in San Francisco for several years. After moving to Los Gatos she did consultation work with Ruth Soferinko, Ann Sonnenberg, and Game Plan Design in Palo Alto.
