I have a wide range of experience as a pharmacist. I started out in a busy retail chain (Dillon's in Wichita). From there I went to a large teaching hospital (Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita) where I developed my clinical skills and staffed the drug information center. After moving to Florida I went to work at Central Florida Pharmacy, where we did diabetes counseling, a lot of compounding, wholesale to physicians, supplied medications to nursing homes, and DME. After our company acquired some Medicine Shoppes, I was promoted to manager of The Medicine Shoppe in Longwood, FL where I increased the compounding and deliveries and doubled prescription sales. I also became a consultant pharmacist and did consulting for the GAMBRO dialysis centers in central Florida. After the company was acquired by CVS, I went to work at Health Central, a small community hospital in Ocoee, FL. I started as a staff and clinical pharmacist in 2001 and was promoted to Assistant Director in 2005. in December of 2010 I relocated and became Director of Pharmacy at Susan B.
