ABB/Ventyx Asset Suite support

Enhancing the PTC/MKS Integrity Software Suite application lifecycle management system for Rolls Royce.

Creating an interface to send inventory data between PeopleSoft and Ventyx Asset Suite; importing historical material purchasing data from an obsolete application into Asset Suite; Using Compose to make business requested enhancements to the Asset Suite web pages. Tools used include MS Access, Oracle triggers and stored procedures, XML, among others.

• Designed, developed, and implemented enhancements and analyzed and corrected application errors for the Indus (now Ventyx) Passport Enterprise Resource Management system. Made changes to MicroFocus Cobol programs, Korn shell scripts, UNIX scripts and PL/SQL scripts necessary to implement user-defined requirements. Created PL/SQL scripts and procedures to execute data corrections to the Passport Oracle database as directed by the business. Created reports against Passport data warehouse using Crystal Reports. Implemented EDI processing for purchase orders and invoices.

Development support for the MKS Integrity 2009 application lifecycle management system. Participating in the effort to develop and roll out a company- wide implementation of MKS Integrity that will standardize change management processes across both AEC and Rolls Royce. This will enable teams to retire paper-based change management processes and greatly streamline FAA auditing tasks

Provided development and maintenance support for Ventyx Asset Suite used by Duke Energy’s nuclear fleet. Implemented enhancements to the Indus Connect Foundation MQ Interface messaging programs to enable users to better manage their vendor base; enhanced batch scheduling programs to increase the accuracy of long range work management planning; Changed underlying MicroFocus Cobol programs to satisfy user requirements; Tailored web pages using Compose, XML and Analyst Workbench; Participated in the effort to upgrade Foundation Architecture and Asset Suite; Developed services to lock work order data electronic folders using NextAxiom hyperService Studio; Implemented Ventyx provided emergency changes; Applied new processing rules to online panels using XML; Added new business object to Integrated Framework & Business Objects (IFBO).
