I am an IBHRE Certified Cardiac Device Specialist with extensive experience in all facets of ICD, pacemaker and ILR evaluation: independent patient evaluation, electrogram interpretation, threshold testing, reprogramming, device problem solving, remote monitoring and evaluation, managing cardiac device recalls and alerts. Accomplishments:I planned, implemented and presently manage an EP/Cardiac Device Clinic. I have grown the device clinic from 300 patients to nearly 1300 patients. I previously managed a device clinic of nearly 5000 patients. I created and facilitate an ICD support group. Created and implemented numerous patient and family educational resources. Created and taught pacemaker/ICD educational program for cardiology fellows, registered nurses and cardiovascular technicians. Created and implemented clinic specific R.N. competencies for all clinic procedures. Created a peri-operative management protocol for cardiac device patients. Workshop presenter, consultant to major device company, clinical research, HRS committee member.
