Obtained funding as Principal Investigator of grants funded by NIH (R01) and AHRQ (R21, R03). Project co-leader or lead statistician on contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Veterans Health Administration. Served on advisory committees, including National Academy of Medicine, and NIH and AHRQ grant review panels. Served the American Statistical Association in several roles (recently, Past Chair of Health Policy Statistics Section, Past Chair of the Section on Bayesian Statistical Science).
