After spending 20 years successfully building a 7-figure global lifestyle brand, I decided to pivot. Shifting from a tangible product to a service-based business, I often found identifying what I was selling hard. I struggled to remind myself that I had been a trailblazer in my industry, published a book, appeared on Oprah, and was the guru in my category.Then, I was diagnosed with cancer, and it was the wake-up call I had been needing. I said, “If I moved mountains and built bridges in the past, I could do it again.”Realizing that I needed to help myself first before I would efficiently and effectively help others, I became curious and began reframing my mind and shifting my perspective. Taking what I learned in developing that brand and merging it into my current consulting business, I developed the 5-Stage Framework™ as a step-by-step blueprint to help anyone with an idea to build the life of their dreams.This method became the foundation of how I helped others.As I continue to use these principles with my private clients, I am also applying them in my current role as a national director at OneTable.

What started out as a residential furniture design business, ultimately curated into a collection of furniture, bedding, fabrics, and decorative home accessories. Developing the iconic movie set for Nancy Meyer’s Father of the Bride II (baby nursery), established both myself and Little Folk Art as the guru of children’s designs and I have been coined the Black Swan in this category.Little Folk Art’s flagship boutique on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica expanded in 1999 to New York, Chicago, Houston, and Toronto. I appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Extra, The Style Network, and the local news programs. My designs were regularly featured in Architectural Digest, People Magazine, In Style, W Magazine, Metropolitan Home, and countless others. My first book, Rooms to Grow In, was published in 2001 by Clarkson Potter. My clientele included top Hollywood celebrities, European royalty, and Fortune 500 moguls.
