At Amgen, I am currently responsible for leading a talented team and a cross-functional effort dedicated to advancing medicines for obesity and related conditions, one of the world’s greatest public health challenges.In my previous role as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, Access and Capabilities, I was responsible for advancing Amgen medicines at all stages of the lifecycle, ensuring that commercial insights translated into global product strategies as well as accelerating Amgen’s “beyond the drug” solutions to improve customer experience, patient value and access.Prior to Amgen, I spent nearly 24 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb overseeing the growth of key medicines from pre-launch through mature stages of the product lifecycle in cardiovascular, diabetes, oncology, inflammation, and infectious disease. I am proud of the teams’ accomplishments with alliance partners to build brands that have had significant and lasting impact for patients and their families.Throughout my career I have always prioritized being a mentor to others and fostering an environment where all team members feel their contributions are heard and valued. As a leader, I support efforts that advance diversity in the workplace through direct mentoring and initiatives that promote health equity for the patients we serve.
