Compassionate Connected Care ~ through my work as a Certified Canine Massage therapist, I know first-hand the power of touch, it is essential to comfort, conditioning and healing in dogs. I received my training and accreditation through the Small Animal Massage Certification Program at Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. I'm an experienced dog handler and Fear Free® Certified Professional trained to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety and stress in pets. I provide customized in-home canine massage for health and maintenance to support the well-being of your beloved furry family member. It's an excellent way to manage or relieve tension and pain of both physical and emotional stressors and an effective adjunct to holistic and traditional veterinary care and treatments. Canine massage provides holistic support for a variety of health challenges at different stages throughout a dog's life; Arthritis, Stress & Anxiety, Post-Surgery Rehabilitation, Palliative & Hospice Care. As a volunteer with Guiding Eyes for the Blind, I teach basic massage techniques to their vision-impaired clients with their new guide dogs - massage helps further develop the bond between them; an essential component to their new partnership. I'm also a puppy raiser of future guide dogs. Providing a loving and safe home while training and socializing these special pups gives them the confidence and foundation to transition, at 18 months, into harness training with the goal of becoming a successful working guide dog. Both of these experiences are rewarding and enlightening on so many levels!Prior to following my passion for animal health and wellness through canine massage, I had a successful 20+ year career in the specialty food industry as a product development innovator and branding specialist with a proven track record of building growth and profitability across omni-channel platforms, multi-retail and specialty food operations, and entrepreneurial start-ups.
