I am a senior level financial executive with a proven track record of managing corporations operating under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code and providing exceptional returns to creditors. I have served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer of debtors particularly in the financial service sector and have experience in negotiation and mediation of complex claims, situational analysis, and debt restructuring for clients in bankruptcy. In addition, serving as Trustee, I have successfully managed a number of liquidating trusts for the benefit of creditors.I have worked on such projects as Motors Liquidation Company, The Reader’s Digest Association, Inc., Metaldyne Corporation, and Charter Communications, Inc. assisting them in various aspects of their restructuring.  In addition, I served as Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer leading ICH Corporation(formerly known as Southwestern Life Insurance Corporation) and its successor, Lone Star Liquidating Trust, through Chapter 11.  During my tenure, ICH’s corporate securities increased in value from 60% to 100% of par value. Previously I served First RepublicBank Corporation in various executive roles during its restructuring, achieving success through settlement of all FDIC-related litigation, financial management and liquidation of over twenty non-bank subsidiaries, resolution of inter-company disputes within multi-tiered holding company, successful management of claims objections and litigation of numerous specific claims.I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. I am a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
