Working in the Asia Pacific Marketing & Communications regional hub, I coordinated and connected M&C professionals with annual face-to-face conferences and regular phone meetings, while linking the community by creating and distributing content and news across the region. As a member of the Firmwide Initiatives Team (China and Hong Kong) in Marketing & Communications, I gave strategic internal communications advice on firmwide issues. The team coordinated leadership messaging, employee communications and global, regional and territory branding. I advised the Corporate Responsibility team on internal and external communications, coordinating annual reports for local and Asia Pacific regions, and engaged PwC's leadership to profile CR efforts through employee communication channels.

In this volunteer Head of Fundraising position, I increased the financial contributions received from individuals, corporate organisations and other groups, to Magic Hospital. Managing a small team, I built relationships and created opportunities, developed new innovative fundraising ideas and expanded on existing activities.

I worked as a self-employed project manager in Beijing. Two major ongoing projects were with: 1. AusAID: Project managing the creation of an anniversary publication, marking the 30th anniversary of Australian development assistance in China. I gathered and wrote content (text and images) from former Australian and Chinese government and industry contacts, documenting the history from both perspectives. 2. United Nations Population Fund: Developing a resource mobilisation strategy for the UNFPA, Beijing office, as part of their future country strategy plan. In addition, I provided independent consulting in corporate social responsibility (CSR), marketing, feasibility studies for new projects, government relations, cultural assistance and more.
