Starting in admissions and social service work, I quickly learned how close to the heart it is for those seeking help taking care of their family members; hoping for a safe haven they can trust that also provides comfort and options. This early influence was the foundation of my commitment to establishing high standards and a holistic and human-centered approach to all my work throughout a 35-year career.When I became a licensed nursing home administrator, I knew I had chosen the right career path. With active licenses in Delaware and Pennsylvania, I lead teams of talented, dedicated and compassionate senior-care and rehabilitation professionals who treat residents like family. I believe in a continuum of care that addresses the physical, emotional and spiritual approaches to health and wellness. It’s one thing to build a framework and put the structure and systems in place, but I know it’s all “working” when I see the smile on a resident’s face that comes from the actions of the team.
