With almost 30 years of experience as a Connecticut family law practitioner, my California Mediation Practice is focused on assisting parties going through divorce and family law matters through mediation as a neutral professional with the goal of keeping the parties out of court and allowing them to resolve their matter in a cost-effective, less time consuming and cooperative manner. As a part of the process, I often work collaboratively with other professionals, such as mental health professionals, financial professionals and legal professionsals to appropriately address complex issues that arise in the parties’ matter. This collaborative approach allows the parties to receive the best support for their individual situation, be it working together to effectively co-parent their children or to properly address the complicated financial and tax considerations that arise in the division of property and support.In keeping with the growing nationwide trend toward online dispute resolution, I provide these services both in person in my offices, as well as online through web conferencing. Online dispute resolution offers the parties the opportunity to have much greater flexibility in scheduling and allows them to conduct the sessions in the privacy of their own home or other secure location of their preference.

After more than 20 years as a member of a larger firm, I established my own practice in Norwalk, Connecticut in 2012 in order to focus on the non-adversarial approaches to divorce and post-divorce issues. These alternative dispute resolution methods include mediation, collaborative divorce and negotiation - all with the goal of allowing people to resolve their issues with respect and dignity and to avoid the time, emotional cost and great expense of litigation. These approaches are appropriate for family law matters including divorce, child custody and visitation, premarital agreements and post-divorce issues.
